Several local councils across Australia offer rebate programs to encourage the use of reusable products, such as cloth nappies, reusable swim nappies and reusable menstrual products, as well as reusable incontinence products.
Below is a list of councils by state, along with details of their rebate offerings. There may be more that I have missed, so please check your local council if they are not on my list here:
New South Wales
Wagga Wagga City Council
- Rebate Details: 50% rebate on the purchase of reusable nappies (up to $100 per child) and reusable menstrual products (up to $50 per person).
- Eligibility: Residents must provide proof of purchase and residency within the Wagga Wagga Local Government Area.
